Data: born in 1998, TD4 Offspring, Nationality Land Rover Defender 110
The name is Maurice – after the “father of all Land Rovers” Maurice Wilks.
In 1948 he built the first example of a robust reliable farmers car..
still loved (or despised) until today.
3/4 of all Landies ever built are still in use.
I started out as a farmers car and worked reliably for years.
Then – it can even happen to cars – my life took a new and unexpected turn!
I was to become a travel companion and really cool Roof Top Tent cum Kitchen and Showerensuite glamping Land Rover…
But I admit.. it took us some time and pain to get there
And now I am this incredibly handsome, versatile, offroad-proof, beloved, trusted
and really cool car I always wanted to be!
Still a few ferries to take and a great new places places to discover…
